VF Europe chose BEST Conveyors telescopic boom conveyors for their loose load handling process. These 2 telescopic boom conveyors are traversing in front of 4 dock doors and are being used for the inbound process.
The difficulty in this warehouse was to provide traversing telescopic boom conveyors that fitted between the warehouse pillars standing at 5 meters from the dock doors and still be able to deploy far enough (11,5 meters into the incoming trailers and containers) for an ideal unloading application. BEST Conveyors was the only manufacturer to respond to these needs. The hydraulic tilt system in combination with the man-rider platform on the front of these BestReach telescopic boom conveyors were a must for time saving loose load handling as well as ergonomic unloading. Unloading and palletising a high-cube 40 feet container within 25 minutes has here become a standard procedure!
