Longchamp Paris acquires telescopic boom conveyors

Longchamp, the French luxury leather goods company, acquired 2 telecopic boom conveyors from BEST Conveyors for their distribution center in Segré, France. These boom conveyors are mainly used for their unloading process of the incoming goods. The front of the telescopic boom conveyors are equiped with an articulated arm to facilitate the manual handling of the outsized and heavy boxes by the operators. The telescopic boom conveyors extend 15meter out over the dock-leveler and into the docked trailers. They traverse in front of 4 dock doors using an independent traverse on PU-wheels. There were no rails embedded into the warehouse floor for this project.
