The PowerFlex roller conveyor, which unfolds inside the container, allows Chantelle to mechanise unloading. Operators place parcels on the steel rollers, which are sorted onto pallets at the end of the line before being stored. The PowerFlex is mobile and used at the warehouse's two unloading locations, depending on the incoming goods. Thanks to the installation of the flexible roller conveyor, operators are less fatigued and enjoy greater working comfort.
"When received, a container contains about 800 individual parcels. After about a hundred movements back and forth, moving from the container to the receiving dock is tiring for our operators. By using UVOTec's motorised PowerFlex roller conveyor, we have reduced the strain of these repetitive movements.
