Inter-Sprint Banden B.V. developed along with UVO Technologies a new solution in order to optimize the unloading process of their incoming goods. The combination of a telescopic boom conveyor and a mobile, driven roller conveyor of BEST Conveyors has a great impact on the efficiency of the unloading process on-site at Inter-Sprint in Moerdijk. This efficiency translates in a faster tire handling during this process as well as improved ergonomics for the floor operators.
The telescopic boom conveyor (type BestReach) is equipped with a hydraulic tilt solution and a man-rider platform to improve a shorter unloading time. The mobile roller conveyor (type BestConnect) installed behind this BestReach telescopic boom conveyor is about 6 meters long and has extra gravity rollers mounted around the frame to ease the handling of the unloaded tires.
16 telescopic boom conveyors have already been installed by UVO Technologies at Inter-Sprint Banden up to today.
